We are currently hiring a Cost Analyst to support our growing Teams! The Cost Analyst is responsible for supporting research, planning, and collecting information to determine the cost of finished goods and to evaluate the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent research skills, and a desire to contribute to the development and implementation of effective pricing strategies.
Responsibilities :
- Process part set up in AX system for raw & finished goods.
- Complete the BOM’s & Routers accuracy review process.
- Monitor pricing performance and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Support the development of pricing tools and processes that enhance efficiency.
- Assist with the implementation of new pricing initiatives.
- Conduct cost analysis of manufacturing processes, including material costs, labor costs and overhead expenses. Identify cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost.
- Analyze variances between budgeted and actual costs. Investigate discrepancies and work with the production team to implement cost-saving measures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and track their impact.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing financial data and documentation related to manufacturing costs.
- Utilize and maintain the ERP system to track and report manufacturing costs.
- Proven experience in developing pricing strategies in collaboration with Sales, Customer Service and Procurement departments.
- Providing Quotes to Sales & Customer Service.
