Whether it’s coffee shops, restaurants, hair salons, or sports stores, we’re creating a student-powered marketplace that benefits both students and local brands. Now, we’re looking for a dynamic sales rep to grow our network of brand partners across Lincoln!
The Role :
As an Account Executive (SMB) , you’ll be on the front lines building relationships with local businesses that students use every day. From cafés and fitness centers to hairdressers and sports stores, you’ll be signing up partners who want to connect with our fast-growing student audience. You’ll pitch the value of myhousr, show how partnering with us can boost foot traffic, and create exclusive student deals that bring businesses and students closer together
Where We’re Based :
Our small, but growing team, is currently based out of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (Innovation Campus). As we’re an office-based team, we’re seeking someone who lives a commutable distance from the area.
What You’ll Be Doing :
- Business Outreach : Identify and approach local businesses (coffee shops, restaurants, gyms, salons, etc.) and sell the benefits of becoming a myhousr brand partner.
- Building Relationships : Create strong, long-term relationships with business owners and decision-makers in Lincoln. You’ll be the face of myhousr to the local business community.
- Sales Pitches : Explain how myhousr helps local businesses increase visibility among students and drive foot traffic by offering exclusive promotions and student-friendly deals.
- Custom Campaigns : Collaborate with businesses to design custom promotions, discounts, and offers that will appeal to students and enhance their brand’s visibility on our app.
- Growth Targets : Meet and exceed monthly sign-up goals by growing our network of local business partners.
- Market Research : Stay ahead of local trends and understand what businesses students love and how to bring them onto the myhousr platform.
- Event Participation : Attend and organize local events to promote myhousr and help businesses reach students through campus activities
