Description
As the Early Childcare Enrichment Provider plans and implements the daily curriculum for children in the childcare facility. Curriculum activities are designed to promote each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. The Early Childcare Enrichment Provide directs and coordinates each child’s personal care, hygiene, learning activities, and provides positive guidance. The Early Childcare Enrichment Provider is responsible for providing daily onsite childcare for the children living in the residential facility y consistently maintaining a clean and safety environment, adhering to state, local, funder, and agency regulatory rules and regulations.
Your Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
- Work Model: 100% onsite
- Local Travel: 25%
Our Total Compensation Package:
- Hourly Compensation: $17.02
- Pay schedule: semi-monthly

Qualifications
The Requirements We are Seeking:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience OR
- Associate’s Degree in Education Early Childhood Development and 1 year experience
- Experience with children ages 3-5 years old
- Experience within minimum standards and guidelines for operating a daycare center.
- Understanding of crisis intervention preferred.
- Childhood Development Certificate preferred.
- Current First Aid – CPR required.
- Texas driver’s license with a good driving record; reliable transportation; ability to travel to off-site locations utilizing personal transportation, and the ability to drive a large passenger van.
What you Deliver in this role:
- You will plan and implement safe, developmentally appropriate activities for children, incorporating the four developmental domains: cognitive, language, physical, and socio-emotional.
- You will provide positive guidance to children using practices such as redirection, modeling, discussion, and positive reinforcement.
- You will maintain a safe, nurturing learning environment that fosters a commitment to children and supports diverse learning opportunities for exploration and discovery.
- You will communicate daily with parents about their children's progress and provide guidance on early childhood development when necessary.
- You will adhere to the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) guidelines to ensure children receive optimal nutrition.
- Identify, document, and respond appropriately to suspected cases of abuse, illness, or accidents, reporting incidents as required.
- You will assist with activities including playtime, after-school and summer enrichment programs, field trips, and special events.
- You will ensure compliance with standards set by grantors, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Houston Area Women’s Center policies and procedures, and other applicable contracts.
- You will perform other duties and projects as assigned.
