Summary:

The Academy Programs Manager is responsible for providing a high level of administrative support to the Academy department. This individual will help develop new and implement current programming in all levels of the school. The Academy Programs Manager works alongside the Artistic Staff on all recruiting efforts, including summer programming. This individual must be innovative, strategic, detailed, have strong communication skills and thrive in a dynamic team setting.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Audition Tour

  • Manage the scheduling and execution of multiple city audition tour
  • Travel as needed and manage aspects of Artistic staff travel
  • Ensure administrative audition duties are fulfilled and track applicable data

 

Summer Programming

  • Oversee Summer Programs
  • Hire and train seasonal staff and volunteers
  • Manage dormitories, daily operations, weekly travel, and other components of the Summer Programs
  • Create and maintain all Summer documents

 

Recruiting

  • Manage all recruitment data and materials
  • Work year-round with Artistic staff, prospective students and families in the recruiting process

 

Adult Program

  • Manage and grow Adult Program in conjunction with the Marketing/PR team

 

Qualifications and Skills

 

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3-5 years previous experience working as part of a team
  • Strong writing skills
  • Strong administrative skills with advanced experience in Microsoft Office and comfort level with technology
  • Proven initiative to manage projects
  • Efficiency with running multiple projects at a time
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications
  • Available to work Tuesday-Friday 10:00am-6:00pm and Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of dance is preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in the arts
