Key Responsibilities
Ticket Operations & Event Builds
- Oversee ticket operations and event builds for Houston Dash home games.
- Assist with the ticketing setup and execution of third-party events at Shell Energy Stadium.
- Ensure proper tagging and management of unassigned transactions in the ticketing system.
- Supervise part-time box office employees, ensuring efficient operations on event days.
- Provide support to sales and service representatives by assisting with ticketing platform requests.
- Manage internal ticket requests from the Sponsorship Department and process all comp ticket offers.
- Serve as the primary contact for strategic group partnerships, including Get Out, Pogo Pass, GovX, VetTix, and other partners.
- Collaborate with security teams to handle ticketing-related security requests.
- Create weekly staff comp ticket offers and work with payroll to assign taxable value.
- Coordinate with marketing to fulfill home and visiting supporter ticket requests.
- Process all internal comp ticket requests and ensure proper documentation.
- Experience: 2-5 years in ticket operations, box office management, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ticketing software (e.g., TixR, SeatGeek, Ticketmaster, or similar).
- Leadership: Experience managing part-time staff in a ticketing or event setting.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure proper transaction tagging.
- Experience working in sports and live entertainment ticketing operations.
- Familiarity with third-party ticketing partnerships and group sales.
- Knowledge of venue security protocols related to ticketing access.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed for events.
- This role requires working in both an office setting and event-day box office environment.
