Consider joining our team with the following opportunity :
A Civil Engineer Technician Intern with Houston Engineering Inc. (HEI) will spend time in the field working on outdoor construction phase activities as well as a variety of in-office projects assisting engineers. The pay rate for this position is expected to be $20.00- $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Job Description
As an intern, responsibilities may include some or all of the following :
- Assist with plan specifications and estimates as well as documenting construction activities.
- Assist with AutoCAD Civil 3D drawings and update redlines with various project set drawings.
- Operate electronic survey instruments such as GPS and Total Station.
- Observation and data collection at different types of project sites.
- Assist with research, development and design of projects.
We strive to provide a personalized internship based on your area of interest. This may include learning how to do hydraulic and hydrology modeling or conducting reinforcement reviews for bridges.
