LOCATION: 7155 Old Katy Rd. Houston, TX 77024
POSITION SUMMARY
Contributes to the organization by managing the full operations (recruitment, fundraising and special events) of the non-profit organization, ensure compliance with all state laws and fulfillment of the established mission. This leader will work with the HEA Foundation Board of Directors, Houston Eye Associates and non-Houston Eye Associates physicians, medical professionals, surgery centers and vendors to ensure complete care is provided for patients in need.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement methods to increase community awareness, financial support, network partnerships and patients served
Plan and implement all fundraising and stewardship events
Ensure effective audit process and approve expenditures.
Develop, recommend, and manage annual budget.
Ensure compliance with funding sources and regulatory requirements.
Serve as liaison with investment management company
Maintain and distribute financial reports to Board of Directors
Ability to coordinate board of director and committee meetings, and network partners/service providers meetings, etc.
Cultivate and steward donors, prospects, volunteers and Board of Directors
Develop, create and implement marketing strategies (bi-annual newsletter, marketing brochure, service applications, website content, acknowledgment letters, annual report, etc.)
Prepare and submit grant applications and funding proposals as necessary
Create and implement effective fundraising plan (annual giving, board campaigns, planned giving, etc.)
Serve as liaison for all community groups
Perform basic clerical duties as needed
Oversee program coordinators and staff.
All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
COMPETENCIES
EDUCATION Bachelor Degree Required.
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES
EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree from an accredited university
Three years minimum of fund raising and marketing experience.
Basic computer skills (MS Word Office package, Social Media capabilities)
Ability to multitask without loss of efficiency or composure.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
