What will I be doing?
ü Provide supervision and guidance to a team of mentors; supporting their professional development and overall mentoring and coaching skills.
ü Develop systems to provide mentoring services to programs with diverse needs.
ü Conduct mentor observation visits to provide coaching and support.
ü Assist early learning programs (ELP’s) in obtaining, maintaining, or achieving higher star levels of certification.
ü Plan and facilitate Professional Learning Community (PLCs) on micro-credentialing coaching competencies.
ü Maintain a system to track mentor professional development and Texas Rising Star Assessment Training and Certification Program (ATCP) progress of mentors.
ü Utilize the Continuous Quality Improvement Plan (CQIP) to evaluate and improve outcomes for Entry Level Designated (ELD) and Texas Rising Star (TRS) providers.
ü Ensure key deliverables, goals and project targets are met.
ü Support the development of protocols, processes and systems to ensure project implementation to fidelity.

ü Ability to analyze, interpret and present strategies, leading to successful deliverables and outcomes
ü Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites and SharePoint
ü Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Do you have…
ü Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, child psychology, educational psychology, elementary education, or family consumer science and meet the minimum work experience requirements of one year of full-time early childhood classroom experience in a childcare, Early Head Start, Head Start, or pre-K through third-grade school program; OR
ü Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with at least 18 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, child psychology, educational psychology, elementary education, or family consumer science with at least 12 credit hours in child development and meet the minimum work experience requirements of one year of full-time early childhood classroom experience in a child care, Early Head Start, Head Start, or pre-K through third-grade school program;
ü 5 years leadership and mentoring experience in early education settings.
