I. Position Summary:
Provides professional nursing care under supervision for assigned patients according to established standards and practice. Participates as a team member of the clinical interdisciplinary team to ensure appropriate resources to all internal/external customers. Responsible for carrying out the mission, vision, values and quality commitment of Houston Healthcare.
II. Qualifications:
A. Education & Training:
Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
B. Experience:
One (1) year of LPN experience.
C. Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
Current LPN licensure by the Georgia State Board of Nursing. Current AHA/ARC BLS certification. Current AHA ACLS/ARC ALS certification or obtained within nine (9) months of hire. Current AHA/ARC PALS certification or obtained within nine (9) months of hire.
D. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must be able to utilize standard office equipment. Must be able to utilize diagnostic equipment as well as patient care equipment. Must be able to utilize personal protective equipment such as gloves, gown, mask, etc.
Successful candidates will be subject to criminal background and drug screens.
