Position Summary:
Houston Oaks is excited to welcome a passionate individual to our team! In this role, you will play a vital part in creating memorable experiences for our Membership while nurturing a supportive and inclusive environment rooted in integrity, community, and harmony. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the daily operations of our farm and gardens, all aimed at fostering connections and ensuring our team thrives together in a spirit of collaboration and shared purpose.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver service with care and attention, always prioritizing quality and the well-being of the Members.
- Assist with planting, weeding, and harvesting crops.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the farm and garden areas.
- Monitor the health and growth of plants.
- Operate farm equipment, such as tractors and mowers.
- Assist with watering systems.
- Follow safety protocols.
- Assist with the care and maintenance of livestock.
- Any other duties, as assigned.

Working Conditions:
- You will be working in the heat, both outdoors and in a greenhouse-type environment most of the day requiring flexibility and a positive attitude.
- You may encounter planting soil and saline water, but we ensure a safe and supportive environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently and with ease.
- Standing, stooping, bending and twisting for most of the workday
