Job Summary
- Assist members and guests plan special catered functions that meet their ideal and special needs. Interact closely with Club Events & Catering Manager to ensure financial goals (revenues & costs) and all internal deadlines are met.
- Assisting the event planning team with all banquet-based events. The Event & Wedding Specialist/Planner is responsible for completing tasks assigned to them by the Club Events & Catering Manager as well as the Service Manager. The position works daily with the Club Events & Catering Manager as well the Service Manager, ensuring the club’s service standards are being communicated.
- Responsible for management of Banquet facilities in the manner most pleasing to members and their guests. Assure a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness of all dining areas. Supervise and train banquet staff. Manage within budgetary restraints.
- Because of the fluctuating demands of the Club’s operations, it may be necessary for each employee to perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other employees are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks as needed or as directed.
- Proven experience in the Events, Hospitality or Food & Beverage industry.
- Experience in the Country Club industry is preferred.
