Essential Job Function:
Support the Creative Services Department by coordinating and executing high-quality video production projects from conception to completion. This position focuses on creating high-quality content that elevates the team’s brand across broadcast, in-stadium, and digital platforms. The role emphasizes hands-on production work and collaborative efforts with internal teams and external vendors to meet content objectives.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Lead producer on special projects such as season/playoff hype videos and other large marketing initiatives and campaigns throughout each year
Supervise and mentor video production “Draft Class” interns, providing guidance on projects, such as editing, filming, and content planning, and helping them grow their production skills throughout the season
Write, edit, and produce original video content utilizing non-linear editing software (Adobe Premiere preferred)
Develop concepts and scripts for shorter-form content, such as promotional videos, as well as longer-form content, such as our Iron Sharpens Iron series, player/coach features, and more
Assist with management of weekly television show, Texans Playbook, by producing show rundown and overseeing content approval and delivery process
Produce and edit in-stadium video elements, including hype videos, partnership elements, community features, and more
Organize and maintain video production equipment, ensuring proper functionality and availability for the team
Manage media assets by organizing, logging, and archiving footage in structured and accessible manner
Collaborate with internal departments, such as marketing, digital, and social media, to align video projects with organizational goals
Research and recommend new advancements on production/post-production tools and techniques, to improve production quality and efficiency
Perform various other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Director of Content & Production and Sr. Creative Director.
Subject to reasonable accommodations, position requires routine face-to-face personal interaction with other Club personnel; therefore, job responsibilities must be physically performed in the Club offices and not in a telecommuting manner.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university preferred.
High School Diploma required.
Minimum four (4) years working in a post-production agency, collegiate, or professional sports organization required.
Advanced proficiency in non-linear editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro preferred)
Advanced experience working with professional-grade cameras and audio equipment such as RED, Arri, Sony, and/or Blackmagic
Advanced knowledge of cinematic lighting techniques for interviews that are used in short and long-form feature content
Strong color grading and color correction skills with an understanding of industry standard tools to ensure visually consistent and high-quality content.
Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop is a plus
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with simultaneous deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
Extreme attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality content
Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information
Excellent interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Physical Requirements:
Occasional travel related to job duties and responsibilities.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
