Hover is seeking in-person office support in our brand-new New York City office. This is a full-time, exempt position located in New York, NY reporting to the Director of Workplace in California. This position would be an excellent opportunity to work with various departments and learn more about how a fast-paced startup operates.

In this role, you will need to demonstrate the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and utilize significant amounts of independent judgment. We are looking for someone who can keep our office organized and maintain a professional company image to vendors, clients, etc. while making it a lively, fun place to work.
The Workplace Coordinator will have the opportunity to grow the culture and office environment to help us become a more lean and effective organization. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to take on a wide-ranging set of responsibilities and who will confidently manage many priorities while providing in-office support for our New York team. This person will also provide EA support for two East Coast-based executives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the key point of contact for office vendors and guests, and provide access badges to employees as needed
- Responsible for submitting maintenance requests and managing the safety of the office
- Responsible for sorting the mail weekly and mailing external packages and mail as needed
- Be on-site in the office on Monday - Thursday, and occasionally ad hoc Fridays for important meetings / events
- Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary office supplies and restock as needed
- Ordering occasional catered lunches for the office
- Maintain responsibility for general office upkeep and "look and feel." This includes keeping kitchen and supply areas stocked, clean and functional
- Help with organizing and executing office Happy Hours and events as needed
- Partnering with the Workplace Director to ensure our NY office is lively and on-brand
- Supporting 2 of our executives as their Executive Assistant

Hover has Hubs in San Francisco and New York City, where we expect this employee to be in office Monday-Thursday to build rapport and foster organic connection. At this time, Hover is not considering fully remote roles. This role is located in our New York City hub.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $81,000-$92,000 annually. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all applicable US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
