What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shared Living Provider in Chittenden County position at Howard Center?
Howard Center is seeking a home provider in Chittenden County for a young child with complex medical needs that requires full time care. The ideal couple/candidates would have an accessible home and a comfort level with providing personal care, and a willingness to learn how to provide the daily special care procedures, involved in the care. The caregiver (s) must provide transportation to frequent medical appointments, school, family visits and other community-based services.
$90 annual stipend (paid out monthly) and Room and Board. In addition to the generous stipend, room and board, the provider will have a substantial respite budget available an d15 hours per week of nursing staff support in the home.
