The Associate Principal will be responsible for assisting the building Principal with managing academics, guidance, pupil services, student activities and other school programs or services. This position is an active member of the administration team and articulates a clear philosophy and shared vision of learning. Candidates must have knowledge and experience working within the high school philosophy as well as a passion for working with 14-18 year-olds. Knowledge and background of moving toward a more innovative model of schooling to prepare students for college, careers, and life is also required along with knowledge and/or experience working with diversity, equity, and inclusion.
This is a 12 month position with an expected start date of July 1, 2025. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary range depending on experience and qualifications, as well as a comprehensive benefits plan based on a total compensation philosophy.
Key Accountabilities
Instructional Leadership and Professional Development of Staff - supports the development, articulation, implementation, and stewardship of a vision for optimal learning that is authentic, innovative, connected and inspired.
Enhancing School Climate - advocates, nurtures, and sustains a school atmosphere and climate that is conducive to high quality student learning.
Operational Management - ensures the management of the organization, finances, policies, procedures, and resources for a safe, efficient, and effective school learning environment.
Student Leadership and Development - develops relationships, guides, and empowers students to reach their fullest potential.
Qualifications
This position requires a Wisconsin DPI license in Administration, #5051. 3 years of administrative experience preferred.
