Pay Range: $23.41 - $37.46 hourly

This a full-time position. The hours are 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday.
Under general supervision, the Payroll Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll cycle transactions for the hospital. The Lead will be responsible for a variety of duties and ensuring that time and attendance records are properly maintained, and payroll data is properly input, processed and stored. This position coordinates and consults with the Director of Finance and with members of the Human Resources department to successfully perform these functions.
The Payroll Analyst will:
- Participate in biweekly payroll processes related to the UKG Time and Attendance System
- Support the UKG system in the areas of integration review and administration, advanced scheduling, maintenance of cross reference tables, training, and error management. Also communicate with IT for access management, management of downtime events, new releases and application upgrades, and technical support for biweekly payroll
- Provide customer service support to employees and department managers to resolve payroll related problems or inquiries
- Ensure payroll related compliance with union collective bargaining agreement (CBA)
- Review, process and input employee tuition reimbursement requests, employee relocation allowances, retroactive pay adjustments, employee deduction refunds and other miscellaneous payroll transactions

- Assist with bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly Federal and State tax payments and filings
- Participate and contribute to Payroll department policy and process improvement initiatives, utilizing company and industry knowledge, as well as state and federal regulations
- Assist with preparation of annual W-2 wage statements and federal and state filings
Qualified candidates will possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience processing payroll, preferably in a complex/multi-entity or healthcare environment
- Recent Kronos system experience preferred
- CPP preferred, but not required
- Lawson Payroll system knowledge preferred
- College coursework in Accounting preferred
