This position is in-hospital, full time from Monday-Friday (occasional weekends) 8:00 am-4:30 pm.
Pay grade: $29.49-47.19
The Quality Analyst applies expert clinical, regulatory and data analysis knowledge to enterprise quality and safety related activities designed to improve patient outcomes, ensure regulatory compliance and assist entities to achieve the operational attributes of high-reliability organizations.
Position Duties Include:
- Accurately performs monthly close activities using established operating procedures
- Provides timely, actionable data and analysis with recommended actions to stakeholders
- Performs ongoing surveillance of clinical and patient safety event data to identify and communicate opportunities for improved patient outcomes and trends indicating (potential) operational/clinical issues
- Serves as subject matter expert for patient quality and safety performance metrics for assigned service lines
- Administers users, tables, forms, reports and processes within the HUH event management system within the established change management practices.
- Executes test scripts and performs maintenance for assigned systems
- Assumes other duties and responsibilities that are related and appropriate to the position and area. The above responsibilities are a general description of the level and nature of the work assigned to this classification and are not to be considered as all-inclusive.
Minimum Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of (5) five years relevant experience, including at least three years in position of progressive responsibility.
- Minimum of (2) two years direct experience with quality and regulatory/accreditation affairs.
- Computer proficiency; expert level MS Office (especially Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point).
- Project management skills.
- Leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written skills in English, including communication skills that promote interpersonal relations and customer service.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task and work within tight deadlines.
- Ability to work comfortably with all levels throughout the organization.
