What are the responsibilities and job description for the Humanities Adjunct Faculty Pool position at howardcc?
This posting is a pool for those interested in teaching humanities (HUMN) courses offered at HCC. Courses include creative writing, Introduction to the Humanities, Introduction to the Creative Arts. The department chair and/or coordinator will review applications when staffing needs arise. The pool will be cleared annually in January, so please reapply if interested.Adjunct faculty may teach 1-3 courses each semester, depending upon enrollment needs, availability, and skill match. Teaching in any mode requires use of the learning management system Canvas as well as participation as needed in course assessments. Adjunct faculty are invited to participate in professional development.
