The Science, Engineering, and Technology Division (SET) is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated adjunct instructors to daytime and evening courses, including lecture and lab instruction. Classes are offered in a variety of formats, including face-to-face, fully online, and hybrid modes of instruction. Weekday, evening, and Saturday teaching opportunities are available.Join our team of dedicated instructors to inspire and educate the next generation of scientists, engineers, and technologists, and to instill fundamental scientific competence in students across the college. Earn additional income while conveying your passion and expertise to a diverse and motivated student population.The SET Division employs over 100 adjuncts each semester and offers an array of courses in these subjects:Anatomy & PhysiologyAstronomyBiology (micro, genetics, cell, etc)Biomedical Equipment Technology (BMET)Chemistry (organic and inorganic)Computer-Aided DesignConstruction ManagementElectronicsEngineeringEngineering Technology, including Additive ManufacturingEnvironmental ScienceGaming & Simulation DesignGeologyMeteorologyOceanographyPhysicsNote that applications are reviewed periodically by department chairs and course coordinators on an as-needed basis to staff courses in fall, winter, spring, and summer terms. Approximately 10-30 new adjuncts are hired every year.
