Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and strategic support for catastrophe risk management and modeling
- Develop a deep understanding of catastrophe modeling results, assumptions, and limitations
- Improve analytical processes to enhance efficiency and client outcomes
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and reinsurers
- Communicate analytical ideas effectively to diverse audiences
Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with data, including manipulation, cleaning, and analysis
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects in a deadline-driven environment
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience with data tools, such as SQL, Python, and VBA, is a plus
- Legally authorized to work in the US
