Description
Oversee all aspects of assigned construction projects from commencement to completion in a manner that exceeds our client’s expectations. Works closely with vendors, general contractors, and architects.
Education and Experience
Degree in Business Administration or Construction Management preferred or experience in the construction industry. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in Construction required. Electrical Construction preferred.
Knowledge
The candidate shall have proficient knowledge in the following areas:

Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for the management of finances, subcontracts, purchase orders, submittals, subcontractor coordination, and problem solving, to ensure the assigned project is delivered on time and on budget. These activities include, but are not limited to the following:
— Review and understand scope of work and project requirements (project plans and specs).
— Communicate with project foreman, understand their needs and ensure all material will be available onsite when needed.
— Efficiently and quickly analyze problems and use knowledge of electrical and project management fundamentals to create a solution that exceeds the client’s expectations.
— Collaborate with estimating, design, purchasing, accounting, and prefabrication departments.
— Manage all financial aspects of projects through ongoing job forecasting.
— Prepare monthly progress billings to client.
— Evaluate and select vendors and subcontractors to order materials and secure subcontractors for outsourced scope of work as required.
— Track project material to ensure it arrives in line with project schedule.
— Compile product submittals and submit for architectural approval as required.
— Develop RFIs as required for clarification on project requirements.
— Attend job site meetings as required.
— Estimate and process change orders as required.
