Administrative Assistant
Howe Overhead Doors, Inc., in Galesburg, IL, is the area's leading door company serving a 40-mile radius of Galesburg since 1963. We specialize in the repair of all makes and models of doors and openers, door openings, modifications, garage doors, spring replacement, electronic gates, radio control, fencing and much more. Howe Overhead Doors is looking for a full-time administrative assistant for our busy office. This position will g various tasks including answering phones, taking service calls, scheduling, accepting payments, daily deposits, enter sales transactions, and other administrative tasks. Pay is dependent upon experience and ability to learn.
Job Responsibilities
- Answer phones in a polite and courteous manner.
- Prepare service tickets.
- Order supplies and forms as necessary.
- Accept payment and prepare daily deposits.
- Enter transactions in Quick Books.
- Perform end of day and month end procedures.
- Adept at working as a team or on an individual basis.
- Answer and respond to sales calls and correspondence.
- Prepare quotes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:
- High school with relevant experience
- Associates Degree (Preferred)
Experience:
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- At least one-two years of Quick Book experience preferred
