With the introduction of our sports medicine product line, we are able to also support hundreds of top tier division 1 athletic programs such as the University of Michigan and Michigan State as well as thousands of high school programs all across North America.

We are looking for a creative and driven individual to join our team at Howies for the role of Marketing Coordinator. Our brand and image have grown exponentially over the past few years, and we are looking to expand our reach into both the hockey and sports medicine markets. From our social media presence to targeted marketing campaigns, we feel that Howies can continue our growth and become a household name in all sports. MARKETING SCHEDULE COORDINATION & STRATEGY ANALYSIS
Here at Howies, our entire team takes the phrase “work hard, play hard” very seriously. When we are not busy assisting our customers, packing orders, or coming up with our newest product, we are busy having a good time. Whether it be playing in the Tuesday morning intercompany hockey game, or hitting the links when the season allows it, we always find something fun to do as a team. In the wintertime, we will crack open a couple of cold ones and watch the Red Wings or even pop downtown and catch a Griffs game at the Van. All in all, we are always up for a good time, both in the office and out. We strive to make the office an awesome environment that everyone is excited to come to on a daily basis and put in a hard day’s work.

MARKETING SCHEDULE COORDINATION & STRATEGY ANALYSIS
- Ensure the marketing calendar is well maintained by facilitating the flawless planning and seamless execution of promotional activities, new product launches, and events
- Analyze and report the effectiveness of social media posts, email campaigns, and all other marketing initiatives by concentrating on essential key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, reach, conversations, and return on investment (ROI)
- Produce detailed insights and well-documented reports to fine-tune Howies marketing strategies and maximize campaign performance through all sales channels
- Direct the execution of large-scale marketing initiatives, including spearheading major sales events, catalog production, new product launches, and affiliation programs
- Engage in active internal collaboration with cross-functional teams to guarantee all projects are completed on schedule with maximum efficiency
- Monitor project timelines, be cognizant of budgets, and effectively determine deliverables by making necessary adjustments as needed to meet set objectives
- Formulate and deploy effective strategies to strengthen relationships with our pro shop customers and drive the growth of in-store sales for all major Howies retailers
- Discover scalable growth opportunities at the retail level by working alongside our partners to enhance product visibility and enrich the customer experience
- Consistently update and maintain our website to ensure peak performance, fast load times, and seamless functionality.
- Conduct routine audits of all product listings to verify accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards. Identify and implement upselling opportunities by effectively promoting complementary products.
- Partner with our internal digital and graphics teams to enhance the user journey from start to finish, improving engagement and elevating our online presence.
- Optimize website content and structure to maximize visibility on search engines, driving organic traffic and boosting conversion rates.
- Manage and actively monitor the packing process for all Howies orders, guaranteeing that all outbound packages reflect the quality of our brand and adhere to our standards
- Design and innovate packaging, inserts, and other marketing products to create an engaging unboxing experience that excites customers and increases brand loyalty
- Continuously review and upgrade the contents of shipments to provide additional value to our customers while remaining cost efficient through detailed analysis
- Represent Howies Hockey / Athletic Tape at tournaments and tradeshows as needed
- Order fulfillment – know how to process and pack all orders that come into Howies
- Work closely with other departments to improve overall company performance
- Handle misc. administrative, IT, data entry, or clerical duties as needed
- Communication and positive relationships with the entire team – top to bottom
- Engage both the operations and sales sides of the business daily
- Anything else required from Howies to be a best-in-class business
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, business, or related field of study
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant marketing experience
- Firm understanding of ecommerce management and website design/upkeep
- Highly experienced with branding and merchandising products
- Staying extremely organized while maintaining a high level of creativity
- Fluency with multimedia and digital marketing practices
- Outgoing personality to communicate and handle vendor management
