Howl at the Moon offers one of the most unique nightlife experiences in the country! At Howl at the Moon, people come to sing, dance and howl, as the most versatile and talented musicians perform everyone’s favorite songs.
Howl at the Moon are currently looking for an hourly manager/ bartender. Working under the leadership of the General Manager, the Shift Manager/Bartender will become skilled in staffing, training, scheduling and controlling the COG (Cost of Goods).
Requirements:
- Skilled in leading hourly teams and working as part of a management team
- Ability to work effectively in a systems-driven environment
- Experienced with creating rapport with guests through an effective floor presence
- Strong communication skills written and verbal
- Knowledge of the bar and creating and implementing drink recipes using unique ingredients and preparations
- Previous management experience is a plus
- Responsibilities:
- Assist in Managing front and back of house operations.
- Assist in the success of sales and profit levels through COG control, management, enforcement of company policies, procedures and performance standards.
- Provide coaching for front of the house staff, ensuring execution of all employee duties to guarantee maximum guest satisfaction and a quality work environment.
- Supports the GM in interviewing and hiring new staff, handling new hire paperwork and training.
- Creates schedules for all staff members according to the staff member’s availability and Howls scheduling needs.
