Knowledge and Skills :

• Use an analytical balance, auto-pipets, volumetric pipets, perform calibration checks and associated calculations
• Understand standard and reagent makeup, i.e.% volume/volume, % weight/volume, ppm, ppb
• Keep chemicals stored properly and storage areas clean and labeled; monitor chemical usage; discard when past expiration date
• Analyze and interpret data
• Titrations of plating solutions
• Troubleshoot complex problems with analyses
• Know, understand and adhere to applicable procedures and work instructions
• Troubleshoot complex instrument and equipment problems
• Understand and follow the wastewater permit, test and sampling plans
• Have a working knowledge MS Office
• Working knowledge of Inductively Coupled Plasma a plus

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from an accredited institution
