What are the responsibilities and job description for the Co-Op - Manufacturing Engineering (Summer 2025) position at Howmet Corporation?
Responsibilities
This is a multi-rotation co-op opportunity based in Cleveland, Ohio. This model allows students to develop cross-functionally across several areas of manufacturing-related engineering while completing their degree without switching employers. Co-op participants will complete the 3 rotations over an 18-month period (Spring / Fall duration of 15 weeks, Summer - 11 weeks.) We are currently recruiting for the Summer 2025 semester.
Rotation areas per semester and job challenges :
- Process Engineering
Develop an understanding of metal forming processes and critical variables to control for quality and productivity
Develop and improve 3D parametric solid modeling skills
Develop problem solving skills in support of diagnosing and preventing equipment failures
