What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Associate position at Hoxton Circle?
Please note: this position is in-office in Westport, CT 3 days per week.
A philanthropic foundation is in search of an Accounting Associate to support their Accounting team. In this role, you’ll support accounting and financial projects and processes including everything from financial reporting to the close, to treasury and the audit. You’ll also work to help identify areas of risk and to tighten operations and efficiencies across the team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience. You’ll also be a natural at managing multiple projects and processes simultaneously, with a variety of stakeholders.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Family office. high net worth, philanthropic, and / or tax exempt experience peferrable
- Active CPA/CA preferred
- Service oriented, and motivated to add value and build long-term relationships
