Accounting Manager in Salinas!
A leading agricultural company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager of Accounting to join their accounting team immediatley! They are are a growing business with a strong commitment to providing the highest quality produce to their customers domesitcally and internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of daily accounting and finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial analysis, reporting, and month-end close.
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems.
- Analyze costs, labor, and overhead to provide detailed cost reports.
- Manage inter-company accounting transactions.
- Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Assist in tax compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather information for accurate costing and reporting.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum 4 years' experience as Senior Accountant (leading month-end or assisting) in agriculture.
- Bilingual in English-Spanish
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, cost accounting, and financial reporting standards.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 per year.
- 401(k) with matching.
