This dynamic company is seeking a Controller on a direct hire basis to lead their accounting and finance operations. The Controller will be the highest-level accounting and finance professional for the company, reporting into one of owner. The Controller's RESPONSIBILITIES will include:
- Oversee and lead the entire accounting and finance operations for the company.
- Supervise general accounting staff.
- Prepare revenue recognition schedules, including monthly, quarterly, and annual recognition, in accordance with ASC 606.
- Ensure adherence to ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
- Design, implement, and manage the accrual accounting process for accurate financial reporting.
- Handle the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare financial statements and handle financial reporting.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting alongside owners.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but work equivalency will suffice.
- Small to mid-size company experience is a plus but not required.
- Must have experience with accruals and ASC 606.
- At least 5 years of experience, with at least one year of experience at the accounting manager level or higher.
- Strong Excel and technical skills.
Salary : $110,000 - $150,000
