What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Accounting Manager position at Hoxton Circle?
A long-term client of Hoxton Circle’s is in search of an Accounting Manager to join their rapidly growing team. The role sits within the corporate services business of a large portfolio of companies owned by a private investment firm. They've grown a tremendous amount over the past 5 years and operate across a number of industries including Oil & Gas, Engineering, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Financial Services.
As an add to headcount, a critical area of focus will be on financial reporting and closing activities including intercompany transactions, consolidations, audit, technical accounting guidance and more. You’ll also work to streamline processes while also providing insights to support strategic business decisions. Reporting into an impressive Chief Accounting Officer, you’ll collaborate with other members of the finance team in a dynamic and highly resourced environment.
A Little Bit About You:
- Minimum 8 years of accounting experience with longevity and out of a highly complex environment; public/private mix ideal
- Highly motivated team player with strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of GAAP, regulations and financial reporting standards
