Director of Accounting – Leadership Opportunity in a Growing PE-Backed Company
Are you an experienced accounting leader ready to make an impact in a fast-growing, private equity-backed company? We are seeking a Director of Accounting to oversee and enhance our accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance while driving efficiency and process improvements.
As a key part of our leadership team, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations as we continue to scale.
Key Responsibilities:
? Lead & Optimize – Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate balance sheet reporting, G/L entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
? Team Leadership – Oversee and mentor the accounting team (AR, AP, vendor setup), ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
? Financial Controls & Compliance – Partner with the VP of Finance to maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures, and support cash flow forecasting.
? Tax & Audit Management – Work with tax accountants to ensure compliance with sales tax regulations and manage the external audit process efficiently.
? Operational Efficiency – Oversee and approve accounting schedules, reconciliations, and vendor setups, driving accuracy and efficiency.
? Strategic Impact – Contribute to ad hoc projects and reporting in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
What We’re Looking For:
? 10 years of experience in accounting or controller roles, with a strong background in financial reporting and operations.
? Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred but not required).
? Strong knowledge of US GAAP, technical accounting, and financial policies.
? Experience in a Private Equity-backed environment is highly valued.
? Exceptional analytical, auditing, and problem-solving skills.

Salary : $120,000 - $135,000
