Position Overview: As the Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for the strategic direction of the HR department, driving talent acquisition, employee engagement, and overall HR initiatives that support the business’ goals. The role will require someone with a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to leadership, as well as the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will be a change agent, leveraging technology to enhance HR processes and improve organizational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the HR team, ensuring their success through effective coaching and development.
- Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies that align with company objectives and organizational culture.
- Provide strategic HR guidance to senior leadership to support business growth and organizational change.
- Lead the design and execution of programs that foster an inclusive, high-performance culture.
- Lead the integration and optimization of HR technology to streamline processes such as recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Evaluate and implement new HR tools and platforms (HRIS, ATS, employee engagement software) to improve efficiency and reporting capabilities.
- Stay ahead of emerging HR technologies and recommend solutions to address evolving business needs.
- Develop and implement employee retention strategies that improve job satisfaction and minimize turnover.
- Support leadership with succession planning and career development initiatives, ensuring a pipeline of future leaders.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment by addressing employee concerns, mediating conflicts, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Spearhead employee engagement initiatives to increase morale, productivity, and retention.
- Partner with leadership to create programs that promote employee development, wellness, and work-life balance.
- Conduct market analysis to ensure the company remains attractive to top talent.
- Evaluate and improve employee benefits offerings, ensuring they meet the needs of the workforce.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any field is required.
- HR certification(s) is preferred but not required.
- Minimum of six years of progressive HR experience, with at least three years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience in leveraging HR technology (HRIS, ATS, payroll systems) to improve HR operations.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated success in leading HR transformations, including process automation and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide HR professionals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with executives, managers, and employees.
Salary : $150,000 - $180,000
