Our client is a Group of companies with a complex structure of investments, operations and subsidiaries which has grown a lot over the past few years and manages its corporate operations out of Irving, TX. They manage a broad range of businesses across Investment Management, Industrials, Oil & Gas, Healthcare, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Technology.
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Accounting Manager with financial reporting exposure to join their finance team.
- This role will play a critical part in managing and overseeing all aspects of day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- This position requires leadership, technical accounting expertise, and the ability to manage complex financial processes involving multiple legal entities, intercompany transactions, consolidations, non-working capital accounts, month-end and year-end closing, non-routine transactions, and audit.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation required.
- At least 10-12 years of experience in financial reporting/corporate accounting, with at least 5-6 years in a management role.
- Public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred) is highly desirable. Experience in working in a multi-asset/complex business structure or shared services environment is ideal.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and technical accounting standards. Proficiency in financial reporting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Salary : $140,000 - $210,000
