As a key player in regional operations, youll be responsible for general ledger oversight, implementing GAAP standards, leading monthly closes, and supporting ERP/CRM integrations. You'll collaborate closely with senior finance leadership and operations teams, driving improvements and building a scalable accounting infrastructure aligned with the companys growth strategy.
What Youll Be Doing
- Lead monthly close processes and transition regional operations from cash to accrual-based accounting.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of all financial transactions in alignment with GAAP.
- Prepare reconciliations, variance analyses, financial statements, cash flow projections, and operational budgets.
- Support post-acquisition accounting integration and contribute to EBITDA normalization (addbacks).
- Manage and develop regional accounting staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Act as a strategic business partner, delivering actionable insights to leadership on financial performance.
- Support ERP implementation (Sage Intacct) and system integrations with operational platforms (e.g., CRM, field ops).
- Ensure regulatory compliance across multi-state operations (licenses, sales tax, permits, etc.).
- Drive improvements in accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting systems.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (Required)
- CPA or working toward certification (Preferred)
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3 years in a private company setting
- Experience working in a tech-forward, multi-entity environment, preferably with MA or PE-backed exposure
- Proficiency with accounting systems (Sage Intacct preferred), CRM tools, and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with point-of-completion (POC) accounting and inventory a plus
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- A strategic mindset with the ability to roll up your sleeves when needed
