This is a hybrid/ REMOTE opportunity but you must live within a commutable distance to Monterey, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions..
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and assist with audits as needed.
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- Four years of accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Salary : $82,000 - $103,100
