About the Company
A cutting-edge and data-driven real estate asset manager – that's also conveniently located next to the PATH Train – is in search of a Staff Property Accountant to provide support in maintaining and managing accurate financials for a growing portfolio of their properties. The firm has experienced significant amounts of growth over the past several years and are in the process of scaling further. The Property Accounting team and overall firm cultivates a culture of cooperation, and promotes upward mobility/career advancement.
About the Role
In this add to headcount, you'll report to the Controller of Property Accounting and will support property and asset managers in reviewing and preparing monthly variance reports, and reviewing billing reports. You’ll also help monitor the AR & AP process, and provide support for upcoming accounting projects.
Note this opportunity requires you to work a minimum of 4 days a week in office.
Ideal Profile
- 1-5 years of accounting or high-volume AR or AP experience (real estate industry experience a plus!)
- Strong use of Excel (i.e. V-lookups, Pivot tables, sum-ifs); bonus points for knowing Yardi
