Job Description:
As a Transport Driver with Hoyle’s Transportation, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting clients to and from medical and wellness appointments. This may involve the use of an electronic or manual wheelchair lift. Drivers are also expected to load, unload, and assist clients in and out of the vehicle. In some cases, you may need to go inside rehabilitation facilities, nursing homes, or hospitals to pick up patients.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a vehicle while transporting clients to and from medical/wellness appointments.
- Load, unload, and assist clients in and out of vehicles.
- Utilize electronic or manual wheelchair lifts as needed.
- Go inside facilities like rehabilitation centers or nursing homes to pick up patients when necessary.
- Operate an Android tablet inside the vehicle with dispatch software and voice-guided directions to destinations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the vehicle and equipment.
- Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicles are properly fueled and maintained.
- Follow all applicable traffic laws, regulations, and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Must be 23 or older.
- Valid NC driver’s license with a clean driving record (5-year history with no suspensions or revocations, no more than two accidents or moving violations in the last three years).
- Pass a 10-panel drug test.
- Must pass a background check (disqualifiers: Murder, rape, sex offense, terrorism, kidnapping, elder abuse, child abuse, illegal drug possession).
- Must be able to work some holidays (time and a half pay).
- Ability to operate an Android tablet with dispatch software and voice-guided directions.
- Responsible for keeping vehicle and equipment clean and sanitized, reporting maintenance issues, and checking oil levels.
- Punctual and professional at all times.

Compensation:
- Weekly Pay: $850 - $1,100 (Based on experience and performance).
- Bonus Incentive: Earn additional bonuses by averaging 20 trips per week or within the month.
