Description : POSITION SUMMARY
This is a full-time position located in our Fairview Heights, IL administrative offices. This position reports directly to the Director of Philanthropy and will have responsibility for event planning, volunteer management and recruitment for the Development Team while providing excellent service and embracing our mission.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinates and manages fundraising and cultivation events. Including all timelines, planning, production and on-site coordination and wrap up following each event.
- Responsible for managing the Development Department calendar, meetings and events
- Assist with donor prospect research, including new and existing donor profiles and corporate support opportunities, and philanthropy.
- Produce and manage organized reports on prospects based on a combination of data from donor databases and available financial records.
- Administer and oversee the redesigned agency volunteer program including, but not limited to recruitment, screening, orientation and training of volunteers and cultivation to better meet our mission at Hoyleton Youth and Family Services.
- Champion, as the leader of all supply drives, including Hope for the Holidays and Back2School in a manner which improves results in number of individuals impacted, efficiency and timeliness.
- Help facilitate communication among staff, volunteers, internal / external contacts, and donors.
- Assist with community outreach events and assist in preparation of presentations for key stake holders.
- Other duties as assigned to assist the Development Department and to meet agency fundraising goals.
