St. Louis Development Corporation (SLDC) is seeking highly skilled program coordinators to fill limited term full-time positions. The Program Coordinator will assist in the grant compliance and management of economic development programs funded under the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Discovery Funds (SLFRF). These programs include the SLDC Economic Empowerment Center for small businesses; stabilization, operational expansion and community enhancement grants to small businesses and non-profits located in North St. Louis City; development of affordable housing; a homebuyers assistance program and low interest loan programs. The position will perform professional and administrative work in the development and implementation of the programs.
Work will be performed with considerable technical independence under the administrative direction of the Vice President, Programmatic Compliance.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
- Assist in the implementation and administration of all SLFRF programs
- Assist with grant compliance requirements of all programs in accordance with SLFRF guidelines
- Assist in the maintenance of program budgets and processing of invoices
- Assist in the preparation, publishing and posting of request for proposals and qualifications for professional services
- Coordinate and schedule selection committees for professional services
- Coordinate with consulting partners to provide program services
- Complete all reporting, documentation and other necessary paperwork in accordance with SLFRF guidelines for grant compliance
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Urban Planning, Public Policy or a related field and four years of experience in the public sector; federal grant management; and grant compliance or an equivalent combination of education and experience
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with the ability to learn other software as needed; exceptional verbal and written communication; organizational and time management skills
Conditions of Employment
- Requires valid driver's license – community/development/neighborhood visits.
