Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Admissions/Concessions Attendant. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring the smooth operation of our concession area, and supervising youth in educational and recreational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and high-quality experience for participants.
- Lead youth in educational, recreational, or social activities according to program goals.
- Maintain positive relationships with diverse individuals, including staff, youth, volunteers, and program site administration.
- Ensure YMCA policies and guidelines are followed at all times.
- Supervise youth at all times and be responsible for assertive discipline procedures.
- Responsible for all aspects of customer service, including greeting parents, handling questions, and staying informed on program activities.
- Ensure the individual needs of youth are met for proper coordination of the program.
- Opening/Closing of Concession area.
- Cleaning off counters, making sure snacks and cold items are fully stocked, picking up and taking out trash, answering phone calls.
- Assist members with snack and drinks.
- Counting cash drawer, snack and drink sales.
- Monitor screens to make sure pool members are swiping their membership cards.
