Summer Intern - Groton (2025)

May 2025 - August 2025

Audit internship responsibilities may include:

• Working on various attest engagements including audits, reviews, and compilations for not-for profits, governmental agencies, and for profit companies
• Developing an understanding of attest planning and preparation services for clients by participating in the planning, fieldwork, and report preparation stages
• Participating in training sessions to increase working knowledge of various audit preparation software and audit updates, including changes in FASB and GASB
• Performing other accounting duties as needed to meet the responsibility of the audit intern position and client expectations
• Local travel to attest clients

Over the course of your internship, you will:

• Supplement your academic learning with real-world experience
• Participate in various projects, working with teams from across the firm
• Collaborate with experienced professionals to complete tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Accounting
• Strong academic track record
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage assignments
• Good written and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a minimum of 16 hours Monday – Thursday
