The Managed Retail Solutions Product Manager holds a pivotal leadership role, steering the development, launch, and continuous improvement of innovative managed retail edge IT solutions. This role leads a cross-functional team responsible for advancing managed edge IT solution capabilities in Retail. This role reports into the Managed Solutions team of the Workforce Services & Solutions organization. This role leads a global team across multiple functions such as Managed Services, Professional Services, Marketing, IT, and Sales to align and deliver managed retail edge IT solutions globally and at scale.
The Managed Retail Solutions Product Manager has deep industry expertise and a proven track record of developing and executing product and growth strategies within Retail. This role requires an understanding of the market landscape and HP's portfolio to convert our solutions into differentiated value propositions. This role also requires someone who has excellent communication skills to interact with key opinion leaders, customers, business units, product management / marketing, IT, and sales teams and be a thought leader externally to share HP perspectives on transforming the retail industry through managed IT solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Product Strategy & Roadmap Development. Define the product vision and roadmap that comprehends pan-HP retail capabilities and solutions to address customer needs. Prioritize features and enhancements to ensure the product delivers maximum value to customers.
- Market & Customer Research : Conduct market analysis, using external customer insights and internal feedback from customer-facing functions, and understand industry and technology trends to develop managed device solutions that are valued by our customers and differentiated in the market
- Cross-Functional Collaboration. Lead cross-functional HP team (inclusive of Personal Systems Hardware / Software, Print Hardware / Software, Professional Services, Managed Services, Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance) to deliver managed retail solutions for customers and drive executive alignment across these functions on the managed device solutions product strategy
- Product Lifecycle Management : Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and ongoing optimization. Ensure managed retail solutions are continuously improved based on customer feedback and market dynamics.
- Product GTM Strategy and Execution. Partner with COE and Marketing to develop and execute product GTM strategy through direct sales and channel partners
- Thought Leadership. Provide thought leadership internally and externally on digital workplace and device management topics, and represent HP as a Spokesperson on the topic of managed retail solutions
- Financial Management. Own P&L for the Managed Retail Solutions product in the Managed Solutions portfolio, including driving top line revenue double digit growth and bottom line efficiency
- Market Analysis and Trends. Monitor retail industry trends, competitive landscape, and technology advancements and adapt business strategy as needed to stay ahead of the curve
- Stakeholder and Customer Communications. Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, to update on product progress, milestones, and key outcomes. Serve as trusted advisor in C-suite / exec level strategic alignment discussions about HP's managed device solution capabilities, including ability to communicate at executive and practitioner level
- Performance Metrics : Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive data-informed decisions for future iterations and improvements.
- Mentorship. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to product managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning
- Deal Support. Support sales teams to configure, price, quote and sell value prop as needed.

The base pay range for this role is $130,350 to $200,750 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and / or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
