Job Summary
In this role, you will be leading a team of contracted developers supporting HP's largest and fastest growing 3rd party software and app developers using modern support experiences.
You will be interacting directly with the R&D to root cause critical partner issues as they implement solutions and applications using HP's Software Development Kits (SDK). You will have influence on future products' design and become a technical focal point for Print Solutions that have become critical for HP's success!
Engineering Program Manager description : Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and / or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Represents the organization to external customers / clients / partners. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. Provides mentoring and guidance to the team of contingent workers.
Responsibilities
- Manage technical elevations from our software development partners, collaborating with them and R&D to drive resolution to their issues.
- Provide oversight and guidance to contingent workers responsible for first level developer support
- Create and maintain technical documentation to address issues affecting the performance of the products and SDKs.
- Communicate escalations and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborate with management and internal development partners to recommend and implement changes to product, processes, or business practices to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to established product roadmaps and schedules
- Lead and provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.

The base pay range for this role is $115,850 to $178,400 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and / or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
