HPA Design Group is seeking a highly skilled Branding and Signage Design Manager with over 10 years of experience in graphic design and team management. In this position, you will be responsible for leading a small creative team while overseeing various branding and signage projects and ensuring the highest quality deliverables. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the multifamily industry.
Responsibilities:
- Design Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of branding and signage designers, providing creative direction and feedback throughout the design process to achieve outstanding results.
- Project Management: Efficiently manage and prioritize multiple design projects at once, ensuring that all work is delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standard of quality.
- Hands-On Design: Create and oversee the design of various assets, including branding, presentations, signage design, local signage code requirements, ensuring visual consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Presentation Skills: Deliver impactful presentations to clients, clearly articulating design concepts, and recommendations with confidence and professionalism.
- Client Interaction: Collaborate directly with clients (internal and external) to understand their design needs and deliver customized, effective design solutions.
- Team Development: Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment within the design team. Conduct regular performance reviews, offer constructive feedback, and support the ongoing development of team members.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate design processes and workflows to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality, while also staying up to date on industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10 years of professional experience in graphic design, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Design Skills: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.), as well as other design and prototyping tools (e.g., Revit, Enscape). Strong portfolio showcasing both design execution and leadership.
- Multitasking: Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, without compromising quality or deadlines.
- Industry Experience: Experience in multifamily, real estate, or a related field is preferred, with an understanding of industry-specific marketing and design needs.
- Project Management: Strong organizational and time management skills with a track record of successfully overseeing complex projects from start to finish.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail in design execution, ensuring consistency and quality across all deliverables.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in web design and digital marketing (knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus).
- Familiarity with industry design trends, particularly within the multifamily and real estate sectors.
- Experience working with external vendors, clients, and agencies.
- A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is a plus, but not required.

Additional Details:
Work Location: Dallas, TX with opportunity for a hybrid schedule.
