Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing the movement of materials and products. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse processes, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment including clamp trucks, cranes, and order pickers to move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock locations.
• Assist with shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Use RF scanners for inventory management tasks, including picking, packing, and shipping orders.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Experience in warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving processes.
• Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for inventory tracking.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as clamp trucks, cranes, and order pickers safely.
• Familiarity with RF scanners for efficient inventory management.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

• 10 hour shift
