As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their moving needs, ensuring that their belongings are transported safely and efficiently. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Duties
- Load and unload items from trucks, ensuring that all belongings are handled with care.
- Operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans, for transporting goods.
- Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move heavy items safely.
- Assist in packing and unpacking items as needed, ensuring proper organization.
- Drive vehicles with manual transmission when required.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of moving assignments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and vehicles.
Requirements
- Proven experience in moving or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment is a plus.
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is desirable for driving larger vehicles.
- Strong physical stamina and capability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
