Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Unloader to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the shipping and receiving process, ensuring that products are unloaded safely and efficiently. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Duties
- Safely unload materials and products from trucks using various equipment such as pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and order pickers.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate record-keeping during the unloading process.
- Follow OSHA safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Organize and store unloaded items in designated warehouse locations for easy access and inventory management.
- Assist with loading products onto outgoing trucks as needed, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the unloading area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily unloading goals and support overall warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating RF scanners, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other warehouse equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in inventory management.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
