Firewall Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Firewall Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our firewall infrastructure to ensure the highest level of security for our network and digital assets. This role is critical in protecting our proprietary content and maintaining the integrity of our production environment.Key Responsibilities : Design and Implementation : Design and deploy firewall solutions that align with the company’s security policies and requirements.Configure and implement firewalls to protect the company's network infrastructure, including internal and external segments.Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate firewall solutions with existing systems.Management and Maintenance : Monitor and manage firewall performance to ensure optimal operation.Regularly update firewall rules and policies to address emerging threats and vulnerabilities.Conduct routine maintenance, including software updates and patches.Security and Compliance : Perform regular security assessments and audits of firewall configurations.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Develop and enforce security policies and procedures related to firewall management.Troubleshooting and Support : Provide technical support and troubleshooting for firewall-related issues.Respond to security incidents and coordinate with the security team to mitigate risks.Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.Documentation and Reporting : Maintain detailed documentation of firewall configurations, changes, and security incidents.Generate reports on firewall performance, security incidents, and compliance status for management review.Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a Firewall Engineer or in a similar role within a film, VFX, or media production environment.In-depth knowledge of firewall technologies (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point).Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible) is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security, or equivalent are highly desirable.What We Offer : Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the film and VFX industry.A creative and collaborative work environment.Professional development opportunities and support for certifications and training.Access to exclusive industry events and screenings.#J-18808-Ljbffr
