Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both high and low voltage electrical systems, with a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). This role involves working on construction sites, reading blueprints and schematics, and utilizing various power tools to complete electrical installations and repairs. The candidate should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Use power tools and hand tools to perform electrical work safely and efficiently.
- Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate work schedules and project timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites.
Qualifications
- Valid electrician's license required.
- Proven experience in high voltage and low voltage electrical work.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with various power tools used in electrical installation and repair.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
