What You'll Do:
As an Operational Floater you will Continually learn, assemble, operate machinery, perform cycle/inventory counts, and handle other areas for the business to support the Company as a whole.
Your Accountabilities In The Role:
- Assembles products following specifications, instructions, or diagrams each time using hand tools, as required.
- Operates various machines with light set up, troubleshooting, and disassembly to keep product flowing.
- Ensures all processes are done in a high quality and efficient way to meet or exceed the needs of our customers.
- Confirms and applies appropriate labels on the products in a specific location to identify the product or parts accurately.
- Acts as a backup for the Warehouse person, as needed, to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Investigates and counts material and products, where issues arise, to ensure accuracy for the customer, as well as maintaining good inventory and expense control.
- Confirms the count and quality of material and products, physically and in the system, to ensure integrity, inventory control.
- Prepares and completes necessary paperwork and PC entries to ensure efficient, on-time receipt, delivery, transfers, and accurate data in the systems. Supports leaders and other team areas as needed to meet overall team goals.
Position Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalency preferred. Will consider a combination of education and skill.- Experience: 2 years of small to mid-size assembly, small machine operation, inspection, and inventory experience preferred; will train the right person who has excellent counting, visual accuracy, and PC skills.
- Functional Skills: Strong math & counting skills; detail-oriented, organized, precise, and accurate in their work. Able to read, comprehend, see color, retain work instructions and able to work with small piece work at a good speed. Able to prioritize and be flexible to move from job to job as priorities change.
- Technology Aptitude/Skills: Proficient PC skills and able to use tablets/PCs to review procedures and enter data.
- Language Skills: Able to read/write/speak English fluently; communicates in a positive way.
- Leadership/Behaviors: Self-directed, highly-motivated, with the ability work independently; Good team player with the ability to work well with others and take advice/mentoring well. Able to initiate, process, and finalize projects to meet the needs of the customer every step of the way.

Position Status & Salary: Pay is negotiable based on years of experience.
And, the compensation will grow as the team member grows!
Reports To: Production Team Lead - Wire Harness
Core Hours: 5:00 am - 3:30 pm (Mon - Thursday); OT on Friday and/or Saturdays as needed
Travel: None
Work Conditions: Must have ability to operate assembly equipment, hand tools, screw guns, etc. and have the ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, squat, twist, and lift up to 30 - 40 lb. sporadically to move product Must be able to see color.
